Apply for ITMA Membership
The online application takes about fifteen minutes. Every application is verified and voted on by the ITMA Board of Directors, and we will email you when the review is complete.
Before You Start
Have this information ready.
About You and Your Work
- Your current employer, position, and length of employment
- Your business address, phone, and email
- Your supervisor's name, phone, and email, so we can confirm your role
- A short description of your duties and experience in threat assessment and management
For Verification and Payment
- Answers to a few background questions, used only for membership review
- Your agreement to a limited background check: employment verification and a criminal history check
- A credit or debit card for the $350 total, or a request for an agency invoice

Your Privacy
Background answers, your supervisor's details, and your home address are seen only by ITMA administrators and are never shown in the member directory.
Payment
The $350 total ($300 first-year dues plus the $50 application fee) is charged when you apply. The application fee is non-refundable.
Review & Vote
ITMA verifies your employment and completes the background check, then the Board of Directors votes on your application.
